Come and join us as we welcome our guest speaker, Colonel Jimmy Thomasson. Colonel Thomasson is the Interim Commandant of Cadets at the University of North Georgia in Dalonegha.
Since its inception in 1873, the UNG Cadet Corps “Boar’s Head Brigade” has been a crucible for producing exceptional military and civilian leaders.
As one of only six Senior Military Colleges in the nation and a designated State Leadership Institution, UNG cadets are immersed in a 24-hour leadership laboratory. Cadets gain experience in leadership, self-discipline, time management, and organizational structure and graduate with a college degree complemented by valuable, market-relevant skills.
Cadet graduates can pursue commission as a Second Lieutenant or gain leadership skills applicable to private, government or non-profit roles.
Come early at 5 or 5:30 and join us for a quick bite and some fellowship in the Cafe.
Post 307 is a longtime supporter of the Junior Marine Corps ROTC cadets at North Forsyth High School. Come help us honor these motivated young cadets at the NFHS “Raider Arena” at 5:45pm on April 24th.
