Cumming Post 307’s 2024-25 Officers

Welcome to Post 307
Cumming, Georgia!

Legion Post 307 is Forsyth County’s only American Legion Post, with more than 300 members and a proud history of veterans still serving veterans, community and nation.

The American Legion was founded by veterans and chartered by Congress in 1919. The organization is focused on four pillars that make up the Legion mission: Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism and Children and Youth. Our mission is straightforward, and supporting and advocating for veterans, active military and their families, and fostering patriotism and civic responsibility is what we do.

You’ll find Post 307 throughout the community, helping veterans in need, participating in patriotic and educational programs with local schools, supporting area veteran’s facilities and hospitals and representing veterans along with other organizations during local and regional patriotic and memorial events.

Belonging to the American Legion is more than membership in an organization—it’s an affirmation of and testimony to your military service. If you’re an eligible veteran, you’ll find yourself in the company of fellow patriots, still serving. If you're a Legion member new to the community, we invite you to make Post 307 your new post home. Either way—we welcome you with open arms and invite you to join us!
